Modenese Gastone has made classic furniture since 1818 in Casale di Scodosia, in the province of Padua. The family is now in its seventh generation, and Gastone Modenese, who led the fourth, lived from 1924 to 2021. Carving and gilding have stayed in the same Veneto town for over two centuries.
The company kept making where it began. Rather than move production abroad, Modenese Gastone carves, gilds and finishes in Casale di Scodosia and runs design from a Milan studio at Via Arbe 81, opened in April 2024. The craft stays in Veneto while the client conversation happens in Milan.
Its reach grew outward from Italy. Showrooms opened in Moscow in 2004, Dubai in 2010, and Lagos and Abuja in 2015, backing worldwide export and installation for villas, palaces and hotels.
